Xigo Maximum Immune Defense Review & Giveaway

Nearly everyone I know, in real life, or here in the parallel universe we call the internet has been sick over the last couple of weeks. Apparently there's a nasty stomach bug circulating, as well as the usual round of wintertime colds.
We've been lucky, so far.
When I was offered the opportunity recently to try out Xigo Maximum Immune Defense, I thought, why not?
The active ingredients in this product are Beta gloucans, L-glutamine, and Lactoferrin, substances apparently derived from milk, mushrooms, and plants. These ingredients are said to stimulate the immune system. (You can check out the Xigo website for more info on the hows and whys of this product.)
The supplement comes in a chewable tablet form, with 8 doses per box. They're orange flavored, according to the box, although they just registered as vaguely fruity to me. The texture is pretty much what you'd expect from a chewable tablet, a little gritty, but not gross.
The instructions are to start taking them as soon as you start feeling under the weather. I started taking them one day when I was feeling more tired and achy than usual, and I didn't end up getting sick. Can I say it was because of the supplement? Well, no. Perhaps I wouldn't have gotten sick anyway. Nevertheless, since it didn't have any negative effects, and it could have helped, I'm thinking it's worth a try.

(A side note here: I used to be pretty wary of "natural" supplements and remedies, but after having real success with products like melatonin and tea tree oil, I'm a little more open minded...)

You can order this product directly, or use the find a store option on the site to locate a local retailer.
