Today was L's 4th birthday party, although his birthday is not until Tuesday. The party was great, but L seemed pretty overstimulated by all the people and excitement. He spent a considerable amount of time playing in his room, and wouldn't let anyone sing happy birthday to him. He always cries if anyone sings happy birthday, either to him, or anyone else. I don't know why...He liked his cake, and didn't really want anyone to eat it, because he wanted to play in the "dirt".
The invitations said" Get ready for truckloads of fun..." I think L had about a compact sedan full of fun. Definitely not a truckload.

ReplyDeleteMy 4 1/2 year old has his list of quirks as well, who knows why they do strange things! I will give you an example of one of mine: he won't touch metal. Mmm kay.
