Solo Squared Pictures

I was recently sent a pack of goodies from the folks at Solo, who are promoting their new product, Solo Squared cups. They sent chalk, and bubbles, and water balloons, and snacks and Kool-aid, and of course, Solo Squared cups. The idea was to take the family outside, and take some fun summer pictures, (featuring their product,) to be entered in their photo contest.
(By the way, it's never occurred to me that round cups were particularly had to hold, but these square ones were well received by the folks who have been at my house lately. Several people said "wow, these are easier to hold..." Seriously. LOL.)
If you've been reading my recent posts, you know we've been sick for about a week and a half. I totally flaked out and forgot about the deadline. Last night, I got an email reminder that the contest was closing today, so we took the kiddos outside to play this evening. (After the sweltering Texas sun went down.) I came back in to upload the pictures, and apparently the contest is already closed. Argh. I feel like such a dope. It was a good excuse to get out and have some fun with the kids though.
Anyway, here are a couple of cute pictures of the kids.

P.S. My apologies to the Solo people for dropping the ball.

P.P.S. I realize it looks a little odd that our summer fun pictures were taken in the dark. That's probably not the look they were going for, but that's the only time it's cool enough, (and by cool enough, I mean low 90's,) to hang out outside here...

  1. Oh your little ones are so cute! We completely know what you mean, sometimes you just have to wait until dark to go out (but then you have to deal with mosquitos...ugh.) Thanks for letting us know about the cups. :)

  2. I just realized you're in Texas too! Don't ask me why I've just realized this, but I'm with you on nighttime is one of the few times it's cool enough to be outside.
