Brandi Carlile Give Up the Ghost Review

As a member of the One2One network, I was recently sent a copy of Brandi Carlile's new album, Give Up the Ghost to review.
I'd never heard of Brandi Carlile before, and wasn't really sure what to expect.
My first impression was that Brandi has a very distinctive voice. She reminds me a lot of KT Tunstall, who I am a fan of.
I read a bio that said Brandi had been heavily influenced by the Indigo Girls, and and her musical style reflects that. I'd describe it as folky-country-rock, in that order. (How's that for a string of adjectives?)
Although the album was a little more country than I usually go, I thought it was good, and in a sea of music that sounds the same, she sounds different.
