I thought I'd check in, in case you all thought I'd finally made good on my threat to run away and join the circus. I haven't. Not exactly.
It has been pretty wild here though. In addition to all the usual last minute cooking, crafting, and cleaning, I've been helping my poor sister out. This is the second year in a row that she has spent most of December in the hospital. I've been taking care of her, spending time in the E.R. with her, and helping her out with her shopping and wrapping.
I'm happy to help her, but I'm beat.
I've got projects to post about and books to review, but I can scarcely keep my eyes open long enough to get the kids to bed at night.
If I'm scarce between now and Christmas, I'll see you all when it's over.
