Sunday check in

I haven't been writing much because I've been reading a lot instead. I've been checking out lots of blogs and message boards about various developmental delays.
I've also been taking care of two sick kiddos. They've both got a cold, and V is cutting more teeth.
Tonight I was supposed to teach the crochet class at church, but actually there weren't any lefties besides myself in attendance, so I basically just got to spend a couple of hours crocheting. (I was supposed to be in charge of teaching any left handed folks. ) We're going to start meeting once a month to knit and crochet baby items for a local hospital.
I came home tonight to two grumpy kids, a grumpy daddy, and a trashed house. Hopefully we're all going to bed soon...

  1. What developmental delays are you most interested in? Meghan has a speech disorder (not delay). NOW, I know I should have been more concerned before she was even a year old...but I didn't know then. It's called apraxia, and for some it affects the whole body, not just the mouth. There's oral, verbal, and global apraxia. Anyway...if you want to know more go to the speech labels on my blog (especially the really early ones), or I can just email you sometime.

  3. I had the same problem at church too! I am left handed also and there aren't that many who crochet left handed.
