I won a giveaway a little while back, and I'd like to include it in the week's things I like Thursday. I was able to choose anything I wanted within a certain price range at Forevr and a Day. This little shop sells all sorts of crocheted clothing and accessories, mostly for little ones. I decided I wanted a hat for baby V, but had a hard time choosing between the flower fairy hat, and the equally cute cupcake hat. In the end, I choose the flower fairy hat, as modeled here by baby V. V is tiny, but I chose a toddler size, in hopes that she'd be able to wear it this winter and beyond. It's a little big for her now, but I'm happy to say she should be able to wear it for some time, once she grows into it, as it's nice and stretchy. I was happily surprised to see that the yarn used was cotton, or a cotton blend. Acrylic would have been fine, but I like that cotton yarn doesn't pill as much in the wash, so this is even better. I love the little hat, and have shown it to just about everyone who's been to my house lately. It's really that cute. (Disclaimer: I received the hat in a giveaway, and decided to feature this product/shop because I was so impressed by it. No money, additional freebies, or firstborn children exchanged hands.)
