YO Gabba Gabba Puppets, part 1 (Muno and Brobee)

It's officially Christmas crafting season around here. I've been trying to think of some YGG stuff to make for baby V, since there still isn't a lot of merchandise available, and at any rate, she has most of it. I have several projects in mind, and here are a couple of pictures of the first completed ones.
I drew the patterns for these puppets, and whipped them up on the sewing machine. "Whipped them up" is probably not exactly the right phrase though. I'm terrible at drawing, and that part took a while. Luckily the characters are pretty simple. The kids saw me making them and went nuts for them. I may or may not end up giving them to the kiddos early. Toodee, Plex, and Foofa are in the works.
I'm really happy with how they turned out, although I did notice after the fact that Brobee's horns or whatever they are, are sort of crooked. I'll be more careful pinning them next time.
Incidentally, I'm thinking I may make a couple more, and host a giveaway, just for fun.

(By the way, please excuse my poor photography, as usual. V was trying to grab them away while I was taking pictures of them. I had to move fast.)

  2. Cute! Picture quality looks fine on the blog. At least you weren't doing what I'm usually doing of taking it with your cell phone.
