Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters Review and Giveaway
As a member of My Blog Spark, I was happy to receive a box of snacks and outdoorsy goodies to review recently. I got to try each of the 4 varieties of Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters: Nut Lovers, Roasted Almond, Roasted Cashew and Honey Roasted Peanut.
So what are Granola Nut Clusters? They're little round bite sized granola bars. And they're tasty.
I was surprised that each variety actually has a distinct flavor. They range from sweeter (Roasted Almond,) to salty-sweet (Roasted Cashew,) to saltier (Nut Lovers and Honey Roasted Peanut). My favorites were the cashew and almond varieties, but really I liked them all. My husband and kids thoroughly approved of them too. We snarfed them down at warp speed.
It would be great to keep a bag of these in the diaper bag for when the kids and I are running late for church, with no time to eat, (nearly every Sunday,) or to hold the kids over, when they're hounding you to stop at the Golden Arches on the way home from wherever.
At 150-160 calories per serving, they're a reasonably low calorie mini meal, and especially yummy when combined with a glass of milk.
I also received some fun extras from Nature Valley. There was a cool sling bag, (which we're using for a diaper bag,) a stainless steel water bottle (for me,) a flashlight, and a pair of binoculars. (L will be getting these so he can "explore".)
My Blog Spark has offered to sponser a giveaway of the snack pack like the one I got for one of my readers. Interested? Of course you are. ;)
