I don't cook as much as I should. My husband works a rotating shift, and he's frequently not home for dinner. I'm a vegetarian, and the kids are just picky. Sometimes everyone in the house ends up eating something different for dinner.
I'm always looking for ways to simplify. When My Blog Spark contacted me about trying a new frozen dinner by Wanchai Ferry, I was more than willing to try it out. I received the Beef and Broccoli flavored entree, which is a complete meal for two, in a bag. I was also given a fun little prize pack that included some yummy organic tea, 2 tea balls, and 2 pretty teacups.
Now then, before I continue, I should say that I was the "chef," and my husband was the "taste tester". Obviously this meal isn't vegetarian.
The kit contained beef, mixed vegetables, rice, and sauce. I had only to add water. I actually made the dinner on a night that I had a migraine and could hardly stomach the idea of cooking anything. It was easy easy, and ready in about 15 minutes. From a purely visual standpoint, it looked like real food to me, not a frozen dinner. My husband promptly ate a huge plate of it, said it was good, and when I asked if he'd be interested in purchasing this or other varieties of Wanchai Ferry entrees, he said he would.
I'm giving it a thumbs up. Everyone needs some quick, easy dinner ideas up their sleeve, right?

I'd also like to see a vegetarian option. I'm not a vegetarian, but I do try to eat a lot of vegetarian foods.
