Craft Foam Yo Gabba Gabba Toys

This is one of those ideas I've had in the back of my mind for a while. I sort of put it off, because I'm such a terrible artist, but kept coming back to it, because I knew V would like it.

Craft foam makes cool bath toys. It floats, it sticks to the side of the tub, and it's easy to clean, if there are any mishaps. Ahem.

I printed out the Yo Gabba Gabba puppets from, and traced them onto craft foam with a Sharpie. I freehanded the details. In spite of my questionable artistic interpretation of the Gabba Freinds, V was ecstatic about them, and kept trying to steal them before I could a pic.

And there you go. Cheap, cool bath toys. Now I'm thinking L is going to want some Pokemon characters... (Note to self, buy some new Sharpies first. The points on these are too dull...)

This post was added to the Whatever goes Wenesday linky at Someday Crafts.

  3. Hi! You've got a great blog here and I love this idea. I host a toddler link up party every tuesday called Tot Tuesdays. Would love it if you'd stop by and link up this idea along with the many other great ideas you have for toddlers. Have a great day!

  4. Great Artwork! My daughter could definitely get into these... bookmarked :D

  5. Oh those are cute. I've done craft foam bath toys, but not in clever characters like this . . . just boring old shapes. This gives me something to shoot for. Thanks for adding it to the stocking stuffer list. You've got great ideas!
