Craft Foam Yo Gabba Gabba Toys

This is one of those ideas I've had in the back of my mind for a while. I sort of put it off, because I'm such a terrible artist, but kept coming back to it, because I knew V would like it.

Craft foam makes cool bath toys. It floats, it sticks to the side of the tub, and it's easy to clean, if there are any mishaps. Ahem.

I printed out the Yo Gabba Gabba puppets from Nickjr.com, and traced them onto craft foam with a Sharpie. I freehanded the details. In spite of my questionable artistic interpretation of the Gabba Freinds, V was ecstatic about them, and kept trying to steal them before I could a pic.

And there you go. Cheap, cool bath toys. Now I'm thinking L is going to want some Pokemon characters... (Note to self, buy some new Sharpies first. The points on these are too dull...)

  4. Oh those are cute. I've done craft foam bath toys, but not in clever characters like this . . . just boring old shapes. This gives me something to shoot for. Thanks for adding it to the stocking stuffer list. You've got great ideas!
