Yo Gabba Gabba Nesting Dolls

I saw this set of Yo Gabba Gabba nesting dolls on Gabba Friends a while back, and decided to attempt a set for V. I picked up the blank dolls at Hobby Lobby for about 6 bucks. Mine are decorated with acrylic paint and permanent markers.

They're not perfect, but V loves them. :) They were actually supposed to be for Christmas, but I caved, and gave them to her early.

If I were more artistic, I would attempt a Mario themed set for L, (Luigi, Princess, Mario, Toad, and a mushroom.)

  2. You and me both sister! I would love a mario set! I'm yo gabba gabba-d out. And happy we moved on but these are super darn cute. I'm sure your kids love them! I wish I could paint anything on them --- I've seen blank ones at the store and just wished. :)

  3. Thanks for the award, Stacey, and for sharing your son's comment. :)

Amanda, I'm thinking mario ones would be pretty awesome. If I were doing it over again, I think I'd rough out the designs with a pencil first, and also pick up some really fine paintbrushes. All I had lying around was the kids' paintbrushes, and they're too thick and blunt to do any sort of detail...
