One of a Kind $7 Shirt

A while back, I was checking out the clearance racks at Target, when I came upon a couple of cotton tunics at 75% off. They were pretty enough as they were, but I couldn't help thinking they'd be even better tie dyed.

I finally got around to dyeing this one, in bright turquoise. As tie dye goes, you can't get much easier than this:  a couple of evenly spaced rubber bands across the bottom of the shirt, dunked in a single color of dye for several hours.

I love the way it turned out.
