Several months ago, Kristen at We Are That Family posted a call for people to participate in a two part charity project, to benefit Little Dresses for Africa.
The first part of the project was a drive to collect pillowcases, sewing notions and shipping money. The second part of the project was that the donated supplies were mailed to a group of volunteer seamstresses, who then sewed the dresses, and mailed them off to the charity.

I had wanted to do this, but knew there was no way I'd be able to.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to do the latest Craft Hope and make pillowcases though. I've got enough fabric to do that.
I was actually a little worried I wouldn't get these done in time. In typical fashion, I sort of overbooked myself for the month of July. I was so glad to get them done and mailed in time. I saw the latest Craft Hope project, but I think I'm going to sit this one out. How many pillowcases are you shooting for?
ReplyDeleteSweet! So nice of you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful project! I wish that I knew how to sew.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Hip Homeschool Hop today!
Blessings,
